Don is frequently invited
to present at professional conferences and teacher workshops across Canada and internationally (most recently in Vietnam),
but he most enjoys speaking to his target audience—teenagers.
Darlene Charron, teacher librarian at Ottawa's Immaculata High School, offered this comment after his recent visit there:
"Don was FABULOUS! Of all the authors I have hosted over the years, and there have been at least three per year, his
presentation has been the best one for high school students. The students loved him. The teachers, even the ones who
came twice to listen to him, were just as impressed. If you ever get the chance to host him, don't hesitate."
